Hi, I'm Liz!

While I consider my love for
textiles a passion, some might
consider it more of an obsession.
Ordinary and routine outings often
become overwhelming experiences
as I'm drawn into texture, color and
pattern of all that surrounds me.

Because my quest for inspiration is
nonstop, I have been known to collect
(ok, hoard) anything with the slightest
hint of print, disregarding its origin:
musty fabric remnants from thrift stores,
old wallpaper lurking in dumpsters,
vintage shower caps from flea markets.
The patterns and textures give these
treasures real value to me, and I want
to encapsulate and recreate it...
